In August 2005, ICR started offering Override and preselection Telco services.  In Jan 2009, ICR can now offer Full Service Phone Lines with combined ADSL2+ Technology.

What is Full Service Telephony?

We see this phrase used a lot these days. To be a Telephony Full Service Customer, you will have your Line Rental, Local and Preselected Calls all with us. You may also then have additional services like ADSL1/ADSL2+ as well on this line.

What is Telco PreSelection?

Telco Preselection refers to the end user selecting the predetermined biller for all their Long Distance, International and Fixed-to-Mobile. This means that the Phone bill may come from two different Carriers. For example, you may receive a Telephone Bill from Telstra for Line Rental and Local Calls, and a Bill from ICR for all other Calls.

What is Telco Override?

 

Override is a facility in which at the users discretion, a code can be entered prior to dialing a phone number, in order for the billing of that telephone call to come via ICR instead of the incumbent Telephony provider.  It is possible to have many Telco Override  Code per phone line, in order to achieve the best user determined call cost per telephone call.  If you do not enter a Telco override code, the STD/IDD/Mobile call will be billed by the preselected carrier.

 

Examples of Telco Override Codes are as follows:
